Let’s face it: most of us are probably planted in front of a computer screen feigning any real interest in what we get paid every two weeks to “do”. Our only real solace at work lies in the shitloads of time-consuming, often mindless drivel that we find while surfing the Internet.
Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon and Tumblr are are veteran time-wasters in our arsenal, but there are some rookie sites out there that are vying for our attention on a daily basis.
One in particular (and my new favorite) combines a simple love of art with the need to waste time, JacksonPollock.org.
The concept is simple: with your mouse you move across the screen leaving a trail of signature, “drop” paint trails in any design that you desire. One click of the left button and it changes the color. A little ingenuity–and the Print Screen button–and there’s so much you can do with this web app.
Go crazy with it. See what you can do.
