    Time to get the word out…..The Fuel TV Sponsored Skate Parks located at The Plex in Columbia, South Carolina is scheduled to hold their second annual Winter Freeze Contest. Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in this years’ event…..it is going to be a HUGE Blowout Contest…..Two Parks/Two Days of Competition as well as a pre-contest party held on Friday night to kick off the event. Mark your calendar for December 11th – 13th, 2009.
    Would you like to get involved? The Plex is looking for you and your company to participate in this event through sponsorship. We believe that all athletes should go away from a contest with the feeling of winning. In order to accomplish this goal, we distribute SWAG bags to all participants that are filled with sponsors’ products. In addition to the SWAG bags for all competitors we have been extremely fortunate to provide all winners, in every level, wonderful prizes. Our park is very passionate about encouraging young skaters to continue skating, practicing and competing and feel that the goodies provided by our sponsors help to achieve that goal. In the past two years of holding competitions we have been very pleased with the amount of involvement the skating industry has provided. It is largely due to the generosity of companies such as yours that the contests have been successful. We are expecting to have a minimum of 200 competitors and 20 teams participate in this event.

    Additionally, we encourage your riders to participate in one or both days of the competition. The park contest will host novice, beginner, intermediate, advanced & elite levels….and for the first time ever we will include a team division. Winners will be announced at both parks….with an overall individual winner/team winner being offered a cash award. If you have riders that can only participate one day of the competition , no problem…..bring them out to compete for the daily award winner of their division. For teams/individuals/sponsors traveling to our city from out a town we have arranged with local hotels to offer discounted rooms. We are so excited to have a progressive cash payout for the team owner this year to award the team that competes in both contests and has the highest overall scores.

    We have several levels of participation that are available for you to consider. A minimal contribution from your company of $250 in product donated is all you need to get involved. We request our sponsors donate whatever they feel they can while placing their name in the hands of the skaters. Contributions can be anything from shirts, hats, dvds, wristbands, posters…etc. If you are able to donate items such as skate decks, wheels or trucks we would in turn provide our winners with these items. It’s simple, you tell us where you want your product to go, and we will accommodate you, if possible….Understandably some sponsors feel their product is more appropriate for novice winners while others prefer donating to our elite division. To show our appreciation for your support to our contest at the FUEL TV Skate Parks of The Plex we offer the following to all contributors that donate a minimum of $250 in retail value of product:

    · Advertising (banners/flyers) before, during and after the competition

    · Hang a banner in our park/parks (provided by your company)

    · Shout outs all throughout the contest

    · Your company name on the back of The Plex contest T-shirt

    · All contestants receive your company information and website info

    · A listing in the event program

    · Discounted skate fees for skaters wearing your donated shirt to the park for two weeks after contest

    If your company is interested in donating a minimum of $500 retail value of product to our competition your company will receive all the benefits listed above in addition to:

    · An invitation to your company to set up a booth (free of charge) the weekend of the competition to show off your wares/sell your product.

    Our park facilities are all indoor/climate controlled with plenty of room for your company to spread out and display your products. We would love to include your company as promoting this event with us. Hopefully, you will find this to be a good choice for your own company image and best use of advertising funds.
